In the Process of Learning Spanish???

ive been learning spanish since i was like 12
now im 15..
ive been learning through school and i have to say i have learned a lot & i am able to conversate to some point in spanish.
what are somethings i can do to help me learn spanish more faster.
i sometimes watch tv and listen 2 music in spanish.
its so furstrating.. cause i want to be able to understand it better than what i do right now.
i do find that i understand some things said on tv in spanish
i also find that i understand spanish better written than heard by ear
whats up with that???

any advice??
thankss

spanish took me a long time to learn--> i've been taking it since i was in the 2nd grade and now im going to be a junior in high school. my sophmore year was my last year needed for spanish class.

hearing spanish words is easier learned when you hear it by ear because it is just like any other language, you need to know how exactly it is said;; example: read and read...the two are spelt the same but have different meanings when said a certain way.

to help with learning spanish sometimes i put subtitles in spanish or in english on tv.

check out classes that will be able to aid in further education of a more complex spanish and also google/yahoo websites that have different grammar tenses with a listening aid.

some verb tenses are imperfecto, futuro, preterite, and conditional

good luck!
