Can somebody tell me the requirements of Judaism, Islam and, the Bahai Faith?
Basically the prayers and obligatory religious observances.
Baha'i requirements are many, but some of the main ones are below.
Prayer:
+ Baha'is are required to say one of three obligatory prayers daily; frequency and time of day depend on which one you select. I believe all the obligatory prayers have formal ablutions (washing) before saying them.
+ There is a prayer required at funerals.
+ Otherwise, I can't think of any mandatory prayers. There are prayers for nearly every occasion, though, written by Baha'u'llah, Abdu'l-Baha, and the Bab.
Some religious observances:
+ There are 9 Baha'i holidays, some celebrated at specific times of day. Baha'is are expected to abstain from work and school on those days. Attendance at events is not mandatory.
+ Feast: this is the once-per-Baha'i-month (every 19 days) formal worship and business meeting for Baha'is. Again, attendance is not mandatory.
+ Fasting: fasting is obligatory for people ages 15-70, with certain exceptions such as for nursing and pregnant mothers, the ill, and some travellers. It is a period from March 2-20 of no food or drink from sunup until sundown.
+ Marriages: marriages must have the written consent of all living natural parents. Each spouse must recite the phrase "We will all, verily, abide by the will of God." There must be two witnesses (including, i believe, at least one from the local administrative body), and there can be no presiding member (i.e. clergyman). Otherwise, weddings are free-form and have no set rules.
+ Funerals: there are specific burial rules, such as where the body can be buried, how it is to be prepared, and a direction to face the body. As mentioned there is a congregational funeral prayer which is required for all Baha'is older than 15; it is the only congregational prayer in the Faith. The deceased is buried with a burial ring which has a specific inscription on it (I don't remember the exact phrase, but it's something like "I came from God and to God I shall return").
+ Pilgrimage: Baha'is are expected to make pilgrimage at least once in their life. Original pilgrimage sites were to sites in Iran (Tehran, I believe) and Baghdad, Iraq; but due to political and religious roadblocks those pilgrimages are not currently possible. Currently pilgrimage is to Haifa, Israel, site of the world headquarters of the Baha'i Faith (and the location where Baha'u'llah and His family were exiled and are now buried; the Bab is also buried there).
+ Children: are expected to be raised in a Baha'i tradition, but should also be exposed to other traditions *and* are expected to make their own, independent decision about religion when they reach 15 years of age. There are no particular laws about birth, circumcision, etc. All children are to be educated to the fullest extent possible.
+ Medicine: Baha'is allow and encourage all the benefits of modern medicine. Prayer is extremely important to the healing process, but not to the exclusion of science and medicine.
+ Other religions: strife and conflict with other religions (and their followers) is absolutely prohibited.
+ There are also a host of social laws Baha'is are expected to follow.
The websites provided below also have easy access to some other religious observances, laws, and traditions.
