Memphis Blues appeared in 1920 in Memphis, Memphis, and since then has been a paradise for lovers of blues music around the world. Beale Street the heart of the Memphis music scene, is home to everything from jug band jazz.

The kind of music in Memphis Jug Band Blues is Blues notes syncopated rhythms and sounds of jazz and popular songs. Jug bands play at home, simple tools such as harmonicas, banjos, washboards, and kazoos, and, of course, pitchers.

After the Second World War, the blues of Memphis has seen the birth of electric instruments. Many musicians came to Memphis blues scene with these electric instruments, changing the sound of Memphis blues. The musicians would gather on Beale Street, where studios top low. West Memphis has seen the arrival of the same musicians who recorded the blues of the most famous and known rhythm and blues and rock & roll. Once The most famous of these studies was Sun Records, who also recorded the likes of Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley, among many others.

The principle of self-expressive Memphis music has been attributed by a certain sound that is familiar with workers of color fields of corn, sharecroppers. Much of the old blues of Memphis was an attempt to capture the sound of workers on the edges. The sound was initially called Gutbucket blues. Some of the most popular songs of prayer, faith and life.

Today on Beale Street, the songs are written and recorded in small studios for artists, with their dreams in tow. The Streets of Memphis are now also living with the Memphis Blues as they were in years 40 and 50. The Memphis clubs and bars are filled every night with tourists and people who sit for hours listening to artists and their music, as always.
