Having pulled often-stellar duty in both genres for many a year, film-scoring vet Alan Silvestri should know if the show-biz adage that drama is easy, it's comedy that's hard is true. For the Brad Pitt/Julia Roberts comic-romantic adventure The Mexican (the title refers to an antique pistol that must be smuggled back across the border), Silvestri taps a little of his recent history--and some sage genre insight--to conjure up a breezy, playful score that evokes everything from Leone's Dollars trilogy and traditional Mexican folk music to pastoral jazz flourishes and club kitsch... |

mexican music from

I have a small dj system and play mexican music?
how do I loop between songs lets say cumbia with cumbia but to change songs seamless kee the same rythm.
any good tips are welcome thank you
dbsantos77 how do I get your email address?
how to match the same pitch (speed) right?
thanks again
ok well.im a dj and what i do is try to mix then when there in sync with the "snare" a snare is like a beat.liek in reggaeton (i know youve heard reggaeton) the reggaeton beat goes like this...snare,snare,bass,then again snare, snare, bass.just try to match up the snare in the 2 songs then slowly crossfade.make sure the 2 songs have the same pitch and speed...or else the 2 songs will clash.and it wont sound good.add mroe details or e-mail me if you still need tips, cuz im trying to become a dj too ^_^ hope this helped! remember...snare,snare,bass.its different in cumbia but with the same concept.just match everything up!its going to be frustrating but believe me when you finally do it.your going to want to do it again.just dont give up.my e-mail is DBsantos77@yahoo.com and to make the pitch the same you probably have a slider that speeds or slows down the song.just make them the same, until they sound like they havr the same rhythm.it sounds confusing but after a while and lots of practice youll be able to get the hang of it.if you wanna hear one of my songs i got it on my myspace page.its not the best remix.but it'll give you the best idea of what im talking about.and the song "not too much"wasnt really mixed, but i added some soud effects and some dj scratching.
