what is the difference between "jazz music" and Frank Sinatra?
I like to listen to Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Tony Bennett and Dean Martin. I know there are elements of jazz in their music with the trumpets and saxophone and all that...But would you consider or call their music jazz or something else?

Frank Sinatra was a crooner and though usually he had jazz musicians supporting him, the charts were tight and there was little room for the players to stand out. That's no knock at Frank Sinatra since he was the star.
Jazz singers like Eddie Jefferson had backing bands that would swing, too. He allowed lots of solos and if a player caught fire on a solo, Eddie would urge him to keep going. Billie Holiday also allowed many solos from her supporting cast.
